Dream Journal

Wow I found my dream journal that I used over the summer! Of course most of the dreams were about him...but it was nice reading the dreams I've had. It is really cool. I do analysis and everything haha. Gosh I miss him, it sucks how the paths in peoples' lives change and go off from one another. If only lol. I want to continue my dream journal, it has been a long time. Hopefully I will start remebering my dreams more!

Dane Cook

My my...how i would love to have a man like Dane Cook, almost..like..pretty much exactly like Dane Cook. Sigh. Truly truly amazing, he has that special kind of humor to him that makes me fall everytime and when hes caring about real things when not joking...agh i love it! If only... lol

Bad Signs

So, I am worried something big and bad is going to happen soon. I am really worried for friends of mine right now. One friend of mine is dying of lung cancer and we don't know how long he has left to live, it's already been 6 months since he's been diagnosed. My other friend, and neighbor, is getting kicked out of his house because his parents are a$$holes. They are always so mean to him and don't care. Now they are kicking him out without reason. I've noticed they are extremely selfish and it makes me so mad that they don't treat him well. He is so amazing, and funny and cute and a great person and never does anything bad. Those parents need to be slapped. I hope tomorrow I don't find out more bad news because yesterday is when I found out about the lung cancer, and today was the news about my friend getting kicked out of the house. This makes me so sad and always makes me take a step back to observe life and be like...wow..this is life..how horrible. I am really worried. Prayers be with them, I hope I can help anyway I can.

Homecoming 2009!

So I totally forgot to make a post about this! I went to Homecoming for the 2nd time (first was freshman year, not good). I went with Alek (date), Kati, Jill, Eddie, Wesley, Nathan, Bailey, Kierra, and Wesley! We took pics at Kati's house then drove to Bostons for dinner. Good food :). Then we were driving to the school I was pulled over for my tailight!! Crazy. Then we partied it up, went to Kati's house and watched Tarzan annndd that was it. But it was sooo much fun. I'm a dancing fool :]

Prudential Scholarship

So this is just a MINI celebration. Today my counselor told me that out of all the students that applied for this scholarship, my application was reviewed as the best choice, so now I am the offcial GJ attendent for this scholarship! I find that exciting because that means I beat all the seniors that applied for it, so that is awesome! :)
Though I can not have the full celebration because then I have to be chosen out of a million other students so..
Anyways, yay!

Why?-Vent 2

Why do people have to be jerks? Someone asked me what my religious views were and I told them how I was half and half and they attacked me! Also, while I was trying to explain my views, they interrupt me and make assumptions of what I am going to say which were wrong by the way!! My goodness, why do people act like that? It is rude. I can't stand how people act in this world. Why does religion have to cause so much trouble I hate it! Plus, what really makes me mad about religion (especially organized religion) is when they say "Well, we know we are right," therefore everyone should listen to us. That phrase makes me so mad. People are so ignornant and don't think about how you don't have to get involved in peoples life. Just believe in what you believe but don't feel you have to enforce it. If in the end you turn out to be right then good for you! Just accept that other people have their beliefs and leave it alone! Just stick with your faith and stop worrying about the rest of the world and their beliefs! There's a stinkin spagetti monster religion!! You don't see them bothering you and I bet many of you didn't know that that was a religion! So be like the Beatles and just "let it be."

Obama Winning the Nobel Peace Prize and the Reaction of the People

Ok, i just want to say that people need to think. Frickin, so many Americans are trying to use anything to attack Obama without even thinking things through (or they are just stupid). So many people are debating about how Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize.

First of all, this is extremely imporatnt to the people who don't think, you shouldn't get mad and attack Obama for RECIEVING it, you should be frustrated with the people WHO CHOSE HIM. It's not his fault they chose him!! What if they chose you! Nothing you can do about it, besides it's rude to deny such a prestigious award.

Second, America right now is probably the only country that is hating on Obama HUGE which is pathetic and makes America look even more like an asshole. The rest of the world fully supports Obama.

Third, Obama has tons of potential to actually carry out acts that would in turn make him
deserving of the award. And the world is, honestly, hugely thankful that George Bush it out of office. It is how it is.

Now I am not saying that I believe he deserved getting it as this time. He didn't do much right now but also think that its ONLY BEEN A YEAR that he has been in office.

So finally, believe it or not, it can be extremely hard to change things in order for them to get better. It takes so much hard work, and obviously George Bush wasn't for that, so it all built up and Obama stepped up to help out with the many jobs at hand. Just be patient, we got ourselves in this and G.W. helped with that.

Please just use your brains and think everything through.

Our founding fathers let us, the people, have englightenment (the ablility to use reason and think for ourselves) for a reason.

No Braces!-Sort of

Look I got my top braces off! Yay :D.

But the retainer...sucks. I have to wear it 24/7 for 6 months then at nights for oh...4 years!!!!! Crazy...! I get my bottom braces off soon..but the top are the best :D. I LOVE flossing muahahah!

Picking Grapes

So picking grapes at Kati's house is amazingly fun! Except Aaron didn't do any work...but oh well! Later we raved in her back yard it was really funny! Hanging out with "the core" is always a blast! We did this on friday and today (saturday) i spent over 24 hours with kati! It was so fun! I took some pictures that are from yesterday and today!

Random Vent #1

So I thought I would start a random vent post because I usually need it since no one else would really understand my frustrations. I could explain my frustrations and it would take a while. Plus, I am writing this at the school library so I have a short amount of time. Anyways, for the record, I do ignore people and their immaturity because it is not worth my time, but I also have a personality where I just can't stand people. People always annoy me. Cabin-"Jake's Inn"

So I "vacayed" at Jill's Uncle's Friend's cabin lol! His name was Mukk! (nickname) The Cabin was pretty sweet, it felt so great to be in the outdoors again! There was a dock on the lake we were next to and it was REALLY off balance but it was funny because Jill kept freaking me out that I was going to fall in and I was really close! It was so silent at night it was amazing! Oh btw the cabin is over 100 years old! And what was REALLY awesome was you could see the milky way (no joke) and 5 bijillion stars there while the most you can see down here in GJ is like...10. It was so great!

Jill and I had a hike/adventure day where we took pictures but we also were SUPER sunburned/tan after that! lol What's lame is you weren't allowed to swim in the lake! PFF Lame sauce! Oh and we had to use an outhouse.. but luckily they had a shower but when I came out from my shower I said "Hey everyone, I just got back from Antarctica!" man that was the coldest shower EVER!

So yea, good stuff, we were there for three days annnndd..yea im super tan from it now XD.

Final Contact?

Finally I was able to recieve contact information to send to CODY! I messaged his mom and myspace and I was so happy she replied! She encouraged Kati and I to not give up on him and how he has been taking the move really hard. Kati and I are extremely excited we've already written letters (I'm about to write mine) and his mom is not going to tell him so it's a surprise! I hope he replies! If he responds or he calls and I hear his voice I'm going to cry tears of joy. (NO JOKE!) I missed him SO much! He was my first actual friend when I moved here! I love him so much!!! Hopefully he will reply. He better..or else Kati and I will call all the Holiks in California AGAIN! Oy lol. Anyways, I am so happy and I love his mom! She's trying really hard to get(ahh EX BLOCK!) him to be in contact with us! When we visit we are definately going to treat his mom to something super amazing! :)

Critics of Hugging-Get Over Yourselves

So in The New York Times for today (May 28,2009) one of the topics on the front page is "For Teenagers, Hello Means 'How About a Hug?'". So I was curious what it was going to say on it and I just said "Wow." People make little things so BIG and DRAMATIC because they want attention or something. It is ridiculous how it criticizes that teens hug as part of their greeting. One DRAMATIC parent said about her kid hugging was that "Witnessing this interaction always makes me feel like I am a tourist in a country where I do not know the customs and cannot speak the language." "Wow!" I shouted in my head. You people are so dramatic, especially some adults. Why is it you cannot accept what we do, especially when you do not actually ask or listen to why we do what we do. I understand the "old fashion" people but they do not take the chance to understand why and our reasons for hugging. We are not completely stupid and helpless.

"Comforting as the hug may be, principals across the country have clamped down. 'Touching and physical contact is very dangerous territory."

My, my, this is intense. Oh also, "Some parents find it paradoxical that a generation so steeped in hands-off virtual communication would be so eager to hug." Ok, first of all, "hands-off virtual communication"? That does not mean we do it because we do not want to be face to face with the person or hug them. Technology just makes it easier to stay in contact with people. This was even better,

"Maybe it's because all these kids do is text and go on Facebook so they don't even have human contact anymore," said Dona Eicher, the mother of freshman and junior girls at the high school in Montvale. She added: 'I hug people I'm close to. But now you're hugging people you don't even know. Hugging used to mean something.'"

We do not have human contact anymore? Really? We go to school everyday, we see our friends all the time, and we KEEP IN CONTACT with them because they are our friends; this means texting and yes, Facebook too. Oh, plus, I like how in the article they add things like "how rapidly the ritual is spreading," and "Hugging appears to be a grassroots phenomenon and not an imitation of a character or custom on TV or in movies." Wow, they go right to the sources of entertainment? Not like the adults are addicted to how the celebrities dress, their romances, or even what they wear and use in their home. HELLO: MARTHA STEWART!

So, why do teens hug as part of their greetings today? Well, today teens are realizing how important it is to rely on friends. When you share common interests, have FUN together, joke around, and vent to them they become close. Usually your friends know more about you than your parents. I know I hug people because they have a special part in my life, whether they cheer me up when im sad, we have millions of inside jokes, or I am their advice giver they mean something to me and why do I have to reject a hug when we have fun memories together? Typically teens DO NOT HUG EVERYONE. That is too weird and invades personal space. Some are more "huggy" than others but that's who they are and people are fine with it. If they are uncomfortable, these days, they tell them that. Parents and Media, stop making such little trends so dramatic because you have nothing else to report or complain about.

So this guy told me his feelings for me and I said I wanted to talk it out. So he agreed to and then ditched me at lunch to hang with another chick. Obviously hes full of sh** this sucks. I hate when people say they are going to do stuff and they don't AND that was just disrespectful and i had hopes for him. Agh

Hypocrites

There are many many of them out there. Right now all the people saying they want to help Earth or they truly care about getting things back on track obviously most of them do not care. It is seriously annoying and it shows how selfish and ignorant americans are. The girl I sit next to in study hall, she talks about buying $100 pair of shoes for prom, and then in my International Forum class she argues about spending money wisely and how she if for saving Earth. One way to save Earth is to stop being so d*** materialistic. All the trash we pile up in the Earth's crust AND oceans is ridiculous. Then, when they talk about alternative energy and that we need to reduce more, they get gas guzzling hummers, suvs and trucks that are horrible on gas mileage! I understand we still need cars until there is a breakthrough on improving them but even my car gets good gas mileage and it is still a good car for everything else. People with hummers especially frustrate me. They are such a waste and a crappy way to spend their money. People apparently are going to die if they can not get all the materialistic stuff they just have to have! Also, I am definately not a hippie though it may sound like it. It is more of a concern on how long I will live and what will happen in my life, my friends' lives, and future children's life. If no one else can expierence the times when life was "good" like when I was a little kid/tween then life sucks even more.
Then, all the girls who still need to buy Hollister and American Eagle! It's ridiculous they are so expensive and are a giant rip off of clothes! And instead of spending money wisely on stuff they need they just HAVE to get the brands. No one uses their head on how that effects everything else! I'm sick of people being so ignorant! I might have more on this later.

Ok so in French class we heard that stupid people at the school made it so that you would have to choose between taking AP Lang and French III! I can not choose! I need both! This is ridiculous I hope it is fixed and that they will not change anything on my schedule. I am worried/frustrated over this. IF I truly do have to choose then I am staying in French III and I woudl just take normal junior class lit which would probably be super boring but hey what can you do? Plus I need to go on that france trip. It is not completely that though, I am extremely devoted to French class and Mrs. Cronk I WILL take all four years!

French class is great, I'm glad i took it! I love speaking french and its not because "french is the love language" and everyone wants to go to Paris and all that. Its just being partially fluent in another language is great. I practice it often and there is something about it that makes me feel happier when I do speak it. My friends and I love to say funny things to other people, each other, and even our parents. Like Tu es mechant, je suis mignonne!. Sadly, you are not going to know what that means unless you look it up, know french already cause you are skilled like that, or you are my friend. Anyways it is fun. Currently, we are learning aches, pains, and body parts! Woo! Tete, epaul (sp?), genu et pied, genu et pied, genu et pied. You may finish that if you like. :)

I am incredibly satisfied that I took french and I am going to stay in it through all four years! I am extremely excited that I will get to go to France and Italy with the class in 2010! I love seeing other cultures and I love traveling no matter what. I am extremely grateful I will get to expierence other cultures and I am 100% positive I will have a great time there. Kati and I will do fun things and laugh like crazy as always. We (probably I will though) will purposely run into a cute guy and when he says desolee we will say c'est pas grave! and they will think we are amazing and NOT american (hypothetically)! lol :) What a fun idea!

What's also great about it is all the inside jokes you can have in another language! There is one boy in our class this year and Kati, Savannah, and I are always saying Garcon! Garcon! and we annoy him sometimes but it is incredibly funny! Attendes! Tu es mechant Garcon! Nous sommes mechant aussi! *hahahaha* it is great :). It's also great when we get in little "dramatic fights" and we yell Oublies toi! and Votre vissage!. Also currently, we can create a "body" song for extra credit and we did ( i dont have the sheet with me right now so i apologize if spelling isnt 100% correct):

Spring Break '09

Wow where to begin! lol First of all, spring break needs to be longer, I mean a week? pffsshh thats lame at least a week and a half please! OK ok where to start...well I'm in Denver with my aunt who is the coolest relative ever! lol I mostly hang out with my cousin Matt though he is cool.[Mon-Wed]We play video games like no other! For the first few days we played Left 4 Dead, Rainbow 6..something (its a SWAT game), Halo 3, and Resident Evil 5! Exciting yes? lol
[Wed]Then, we went to the Downtown Aquarium which was really awesome. I got to feed sting rays (cloaks and daggers) and I was a natural :P it was great!
[Wed-Thurs]Then we played more video games, I watched Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Wall-E and saw the Pink Panther 2 in theaters (its kind of like the first one, still funny though :) ). Lets see....then we went to the
[Fri] Denver Zoo!! Woo! I sound like a little kid with all these little adventures im going on lol. Anyways, the zoo was fun but i think the aquarium was better. What was awesome at the zoo was, the gorillas were really mad or something and would run up and hit the glass where the little kids were standing. It was quite amusing..actually they weren't mad they were playing though it seemed like they were mad...you just had to be there but it was awesome lol. THEN the best part came. My cousin has some cute and awesome college friends and we were invited to a trivia party. It was pretty fun except we were dead last for a while then got 3rd....out of 4 groups.. lol. But everyone was really awesome i already love college. Then they did their college deal where they played beer pong and i got to pay foosball lol yay me! But my gosh it was soooo fun plus, the host, Adam, he was...just above awesome (inside joke) :P. So we were up till 5 am and spent the night at Adams.
[Sat.] Finally, we drove back, got breakfast, i cooked dinner for everyone, played video games and watched Role Models which was really funny lol. So now I will back and I am leaving tomorrow..sigh.

SO...

Sorry I suck at keeping the blog updated!!! lol. "You" kind of missed out on the musical expierence, I was in My Fair Lady and it was an awesome expierence got a lot of friends. Anyways I will try my best to keep this updated if I ever get some free time! So yea sorry about that, lots of love,

Snowboarding Again!

How Fun!!! I officially LOVE snowboarding its sooo fun! This was Kati's and mine 2nd time up at Powderhorn and it was really fun! We went on as much as we could and we got to see our instructor! So it was all good and we also saw A LOT of people from our school which is awesome! The really funny part was when Kati crashed into me when going down the hill. Everyone is ok but we now have battlescars :P it was insaely funny though!

My Fair Lady-Color me blue im lost in you

So this is my first time in a musical. It's pretty amazing.
Honestly ever since I've joined, I have been so much happier than I usually am.
I love learning all these fun dances and songs and the play itself is amazing.
Mr. Whiteford (the director) is so funny and amazing and helpful and so is his "crew"! I am in the elite chorus which are the rich people :P. So I to be snooty and elegant haha. So since we are the elite chorus, we have to learn how to waltz! ^_^
I am pretty much amazing at it! I picked it up so quick! I've always loved loved loved dancing but could never take any classes =/. But what's so amazing is when I dance I no joke feel like im flying. Those songs totally make sense now!!!! lol But I get so lost in dancing I love it I want to dance forever! Anyways, that's my update lol

Snowboarding-First time!

Oh my goodness, what a fun and great expierence! lol. My frined Kati and I went to learn how to snowboard at Powderhorn on Tuesday and it was crazy good lol. I'm so glad I took her we are really great at laughing at ourselves and not really caring if we fall 5 million times lol. So we started getting there late but it all worked out anyways and lucky us we got a really great instructor for a good price! He was a REALLY helpful "mentor" ( :P ). And a double bonus was that he was funny/sarcastic and a handsome fun guy lol. We ALL had a blast haha. I'm glad he wasn't frustrated with us haha. I was a bit of a complication but I was getting it eventually lol. So I pretty much love snowboarding and I am definately going to do it again! If I had a lot of spare time and money (of course) I would go almost everyday! haha. What sucks was I was insanely sore!! Mostly my arms and abs hurt. Probably cause my version of a stop was falling :D haha so I had to get up a BUNCH of times lol. But it was good i am definately doing it again and kati is the perfect snowboarding buddy lol.
